Darren started with work with Diprose Miller in 1998 before heading off on a four-year "OE" during which he travelled extensively, working in various industries (including some accounting positions) before finishing his overseas work experience with a large engineering company installing conveyor systems.

Darren returned to New Zealand at the end of 2002 and rejoined Diprose Miller, commencing part-time accounting studies at Waikato University. He continued to develop his skills and experience, resulting in the purchase of an interest in the practice early in 2011.

While overseas Darren met his wife, Megan, and they have four young children. Darren enjoys watching a variety of sports, when time allows, and still plays competitive squash for the Te Aroha Club.

Darren enjoys working with his clients and enjoys playing a part in the growth and consolidation of their businesses.
