Every successful business has one thing in common - they're unique. At Diprose Miller, we recognise that uniqueness and work with it to ensure you have the best business accounting services and structures for your needs. Our team of experienced staff work with a diverse client base so we're well equipped to advise you on the most efficient choice of services for your circumstances.
Selecting the best form of legal structure for your business can impact significantly on future results. But there’s much to consider. Common options for business structures include a sole trader, partnership, company, trust or a combination of these. We want to ensure you not only understand and choose the best option for you, but you benefit from it. This includes obtaining legal protection, simplifying administration issues and minimising tax liabilities. By gaining a knowledge of your circumstances and business plans we will recommend and implement a structure that will provide the best balance for you.
Buying a business? We've seen many proposals from clients over the years and know just what to look for when reviewing a prospective business on your behalf. We can provide an opinion on the asking price and work with you on any issues. This will help you avoid making a costly mistake or confirm the business you are planning to buy is worth it.
Selling your business? We can help prepare a valuation from which a suitable asking price can be determined and assist with the preparation of an information package for potential buyers to maximise the chances of a good price.
Our in-house accounting system allows us to prepare an almost unlimited range of comprehensive monthly financial reports, customised to fit your business needs. Over the years we have developed a number of packages that will assist you in operating your business effectively. We are also available to provide assistance with the preparation of cash flow forecasts to assess seasonal finance requirements and/or to evaluate the likely outcomes of different business decisions.
To make your accounting life – and our lives – easier we are a platinum partner of XERO. All staff are certified in this accounting software and experienced in using its associated add-ons, such as Figured on Farming. We also have considerable experience in two contemporary cashbook products: Accomplish Cash Manager, which enables us to analyse transactions, prepare GST returns and print reports showing actual cash flows against budget; and Concept Cash Manager, a spreadsheet look-alike product for farmers that includes useful farming features (such as a livestock reconciliation report and a milk income calculator that will work out future advance/deferred milk payments). We can also run financial health checks for clients using MYOB Profit Optimiser.
